FROSTBURG, Md. -- At the 2024 Mountain East Conference Championships, Notre Dame College had five student-athletes competing and the 4x400 team highlighted the three-day event by earning a point.

On the first day, Patrick McIlroy threw 38.26m in the javelin event, earning himself ninth place. He was just 0.45m away from the eighth place qualifier. Lucy Osztfalk finished the 10,000 meter run with a time of 48:25.64.

In the 800m run qualifiers, DeAco Curry crossed the finish line with a very impressive 1:55.19 mark. In the tightly contested field, he finished just outside of the top eight by 13-hundredths of a second.

The 4x4 squad of Curry, Matthew Griffin, McIlroy and Dante Abrams Jr. gave NDC a point by finishing in eighth place. The team put together a final time of 3:30.58.
