GREENSBURG, PA / WHEELING, W.Va. – The Notre Dame College golf team wrapped up their 2024 campaign with a trio of top 20 finishers. The NDC women's golf team placed fourth, as the men's team took seventh during the annual MEC Spring Invite.
Erin Frey paced the women's side with a top 15 finish after an ultra-consistent 166 (83-83) two-round score.
Catalina Uribe claimed a top 20 placement with a score of 176 after shooting 86 on day one and 90 on day two. As a result, both Frey and Uribe claimed All-MEC Honorable Mention. Lastly,
Olivia Jackson shot a 181 (92-89), while
Alayna Smith tallied 199 strokes (101-98).
On the men's side
Alex Rapp placed inside the top 10, while
Braden Nunez finished 17
th. Both Falcon golfers turned in rounds of one-under, totaling 70 strokes.
Peter Malo Jr. (153),
Zach Huscusson (158) and
Ronan Steel (165) also competed for the Falcons.
