BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference released the Fall Semester Academic Awards, on Thursday. Notre Dame College had a combined 82 student-athletes with a GPA of 3.25, or higher, earning a spot on either the All-MEC Academic Team or the Commissioner's Honor Roll. (

To be a member of the All-MEC Academic Team, the student-athlete must be a member of the active roster and have a grade-point average of 3.70-4.00 in the semester of their championship season. To qualify for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a member of the active roster and post a grade-point average between 3.25-3.69 in the semester of their championship season.

Scott Swain. "We have high standards to be champions on the court/field and in the classroom. I am so proud of the student-athletes and appreciate the work of our coaches to support their academic success."
NDC had 29 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team and 53 named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The football program led the way with 29 student-athletes listed, while women's soccer had the most players on All-Academic team with nine. Football check in with seven on the All-Academic team, as men's soccer and volleyball each had six.
