According to the latest United Soccer Coaches' Division II top 25 poll, Notre Dame College is now sitting at No. 15 in the country. The Falcons moved up eight spots after an undefeated first week, which included a 3-0 victory over No. 4 ranked Lake Erie College on Thursday. (

The Falcons went 16-5-2 in 2022, getting to the Mountain East Conference Finals before earning a bid into the NCAA Division II Tournament. In the D2 Playoffs, NDC defeated The College of Saint Rose by a score of 2-1 before falling to the eventual national champions Franklin Pierce University in the Second Round. The Falcons went into the offseason as the No. 23 ranked team.

Ailton Fagner Silva had the assist on the first goal of the game and scored a goal of his own, in the 52nd minute.
Mirai Sato scored the first goal of the game, in the 16th minute, while playing in his first game with the Falcons and
Evans Armah scored his first goal with NDC since April 21, 2021. On Sunday,

David Kolar all scored for Notre Dame in a 3-1 win over Ohio Dominican.
Goalkeeper
Danilo Abayo Wilson was given the Mountain East Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor after saving eight shots and allowing just one goal over the two games last week.
NDC is joined by fellow MEC member Charleston in the poll, as the Golden Eagles won twice last week and moved up to No. 2.
The Falcons will face Davis & Elkins, on the road, on Sept. 6. First kick is scheduled for 7 p.m.
