In his first start with the Falcons, the native of Berlin, Germany went up against No. 4 Lake Erie College, on Aug. 31. The Falcons did not allow a goal in the 3-0 upset of the Storm and Wilson saved six shots. Five of his six saves in the game took place in the second half, and between the 72nd minute and the 85th minute, the Falcons' goalkeeper stopped four shots on target.
The Falcons nearly put together another shutout, on Sunday. In a 3-1 victory over Ohio Dominican, Wilson tallied two saves and did not allow a goal until a last second scramble with less than 10 seconds remaining put ODU on the board.
Wilson will be back in goal as the Falcons travel to play No. 12 Davis & Elkins College, on Sept. 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
