WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – Notre Dame College women's golf competed at the Greenbrier Collegiate Invite, hosted by Glenville State, earlier this week.
Erin Frey (T-12),
Catalina Uribe (15) and
Olivia Jackson (T-20) all finished in the top 20 over the two rounds.
Frey had a great first round, finishing with a 79. That was good enough to be tied for sixth place among nearly 50 competitors at the invite. She finished day two with an 85 for a two-day total of 164 and was tied 12th. The junior tallied three birdies throughout the event.
Uribe was not far behind. She finished in 15th place with a 165, totaling 83 on day one and 82 on day two. Jackson ended the two days tied for 20th. She struggled early on, but then improved by four strokes to an 84 on the second day and had a total of 172.
Jackson tallied 16 pars, while Frey and Uribe each had 15.
Notre Dame will now compete at the MEC Spring Invite, in Charleston, W.Va. That begins on April 14.
