He has a record of 14-31-2 (13-28-2 MEC). Luke Duffy was named head coach of Concord's men's team over the summer. After coaching the women's team for six seasons, he will now be in the head man for both.

Rankings: None of these teams are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division II poll.

Series History: Since the two programs first met in 2018, NDC has gone 7-0 against West Liberty, which included shutouts in each of the first five matchups. Versus Concord, the Falcons have put together a 16-0-1 all-time mark. Notre Dame has won nine consecutive matchups against CU, and the Mountain Lions have been held to two goals over that stretch.

Noting the Falcons: Notre Dame is coming off of another 1-1 week. Against Wheeling, NDC took 11 shots in the first half and 16 in the game, including nine shots on target. With under 10 seconds remaining before halftime, the Falcons put the first goal on the scoreboard. Freshman Simao Coelho found senior Ned Dry to break the scoreless tie. NDC would add a goal in the 68th minute as Taylor Dyson converted on a set piece and then Dyson was credited with an assist on Antonio Bittencourt's goal in the 77th minute. In the second game of the week, the Falcons went up against No. 2 ranked Charleston. UC took five shots in the first half and scored a goal, while the defense held NDC to just one shot. However, in the second half, Notre Dame took eight shots to Charleston two. The Golden Eagles scored one more goal and won 2-0.

Bittencourt leads the team with two goals this season, while Coelho has taken eight shots. Goalkeeper Rafael Baia has started three of the games and has made seven saves and is credited with two shutouts.

Noting the Hilltoppers: West Liberty has not played any non-conference games and jumped right into conference play on Aug. 28. Against Charleston to start the season, West Liberty was shutout and held to two shots in the game, while UC took 29 shots and 10 on target. Although the Hilltoppers' Noah Underwood made six saves in the first half, Charleston put two goals on the board and then added one more in the second half to win 3-0. WLU had a balanced attack against Concord in game two of the season, as they took five shots in the first half and four in the second, scoring two goals in each half for a 4-1 win. Four different players (Mark Donnelly - 2', Daniel Rovira – 15', Oskar Voges – 48', Ashton Farnsworth – 72') scored for the Hilltoppers. Against Frostburg State, on Sunday, eight yellow cards were handed out and a red card. The teams battled to a scoreless draw as Farnsworth led the team with two shots on goal and Underwood saved four shots.

Michael Shelor, who has two goals this season, scored in the 75th minute for Concord to tie the game and it ended in another draw.
