Following a successful 2022 campaign, six NDC Falcons have garnered recognition from the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).
Taylor Dyson and
Connor O'Reilly brought home All-Ohio honors, while
Madison Luckett,
Pedro Alves,
Antonio Bittencourt and
Ned Dry earned Academic All-Ohio. (

Luckett, a biology major with a 3.46 GPA, was an All-MEC Honorable Mention selection this season, named to the All-Ohio First Team in 2021, and adds Academic All-Ohio honors in 2022. She is the first women's soccer player to earn Academic All-Ohio honors since five Falcons claimed the award on 2017.

Dyson adds All-Ohio honors to his never-ending 2022 trophy case which includes, First Team All-American (CCA), Second Team All-American (USC), Third Team Academic All-American (CSC), First Team All-Region (CCA), Academic All-Region (CSC), First Team All-MEC and MEC All-Tournament Team.

O'Reilly also collects All-Ohio honors after a stellar 2022 season. The Donegal, Ireland native tallied First Team All-Region (CCA) and Second Team All-MEC this year.

Alves, Bittencourt and Dry mark history for the NDC men's soccer program by becoming the first athletes selected to the Academic All-Ohio team.

Alves, a finance major with a 3.95 GPA, was awarded Second Team Academic All-American (CSC), Academic All-Region (CSC) and Second Team All-MEC this season.

Bittencourt is a finance major with a 3.30 GPA, as Dry majored in business management with a 3.50 GPA. Both Falcons picked up Second Team All-Region (CCA) this year, as Bittencourt was tabbed to the All-MEC First Team, while Dry claimed Honorable Mention All-MEC.

The OCSA represents all collegiate soccer programs in Ohio with a current membership of over 100 programs. The OCSA was formed in 1953 and is one of the oldest state Collegiate Coaching Associations in the US. The association played a significant role in the growth, development and organization of collegiate soccer in Ohio. Its mission was to aid with coaching education, referee development and training along with the establishment of an extensive awards program. The OCSA has annually recognized over 300 of the best and brightest student athletes and coaches in our state.
