AUSTIN, Tex. – For the first time in program history, two Notre Dame College football student-athletes are on the Academic All-America® Team in the same season.

Earlier this offseason, Harding and Moore took home CoSIDA Academic All-Region First Team honors for the second consecutive season, making them eligible for a spot on an Academic All-America Team. Both student-athletes were also named All-MEC First Team and All-MEC Academic Team.

Mickey Mental. "They are definitely leaders of our team because of what they do on the field, but more importantly what they have accomplished off the field."
Harding was successful on all six of his field goal tries over the five-game season as the Falcons' kicker, along with connecting on 34 extra-point kicks. The psychology major ranked in the top-20 among NCAA Division II players in many offensive and special teams categories. He was second in the country in total points scored with 52, ninth in field goals per game at 1.20, 15th in points responsible for with 52 and 18th in scoring with 10.4 points per game. Harding held a 3.91 GPA as he became the all-time scoring leader at Notre Dame College with 320 points in his career. Harding also holds the program record in field goals made (41) and extra points (197).
Moore, a management major, led an NDC defense which allowed 15.4 points per game and 85 rushing yards per game. The native of Rootstown, Ohio ranked 31st in NCAA D2 with 8.6 tackles per game. Moore, who maintained a 3.96 GPA, led the team in total tackles (43) and had 16 more than anyone else on the defense. He also had an interception that he returned for a touchdown, five tackles for a loss and two sacks.
These are the first Academic All-America honors for the NDC football program since Austin Treneff brought home First Team honors in 2018.
