Tanner Harding has become the first player in program history to earn two Academic All-America® First Team honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). After taking a First Team award in the spring, Harding put together another impressive season this fall. (

Harding finished up his first semester in NDC's MBA program, where he held a 4.0 grade point average. He graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in psychology and finished with a 3.91 GPA.
The native of Gahanna, Ohio finished the season leading the Mountain East Conference in field goals made with 15, extra point kicks with 64 and points with 109. He had the second longest field goal in the MEC this season, and tied his own program record, with a 45-yard field goal in a playoff game against Slippery Rock on Nov. 20.
He is tied for seventh in Division II this season in field goal makes and 13th in points scored. Among active career leaders at the DI, DII and DIII levels, Harding is second in extra points kicks with 261 in his career and ranks fourth in career points with 429. At the D2 level, Harding leads all kickers with 56 career field goals.
For his performance this season, he was named All-MEC Second Team and CoSIDA Academic All-District® First Team.
The Gahanna Lincoln High School product broke Notre Dame College and Mountain East Conference records in career points, field goals made and extra points. He holds NDC record in career field goal percentage (72-percent) and career PAT percentage (93-percent). He ranks fourth in conference history in career field goal percentage and sixth in career extra-point percentage.
In his career, he has earned four All-MEC honors, Academic All-Region, three-times and All-Super Region 1 Third Team Offense. He was a member of All-MEC Academic Team (3.7-4.0 GPA) multiple times.
