Harding grabs another Academic All-District award

For the third consecutive year, Tanner Harding has been named to the Academic All-District® team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The Notre Dame College kicker was named to the First Team and has a chance of becoming an Academic All-American for the second time. (Release)

Harding, who is in his first semester as a graduate student, graduated with a degree in business administration and had an undergraduate GPA of 3.91. He has taken the Academic All-District® honors every season since 2019.

This season, Harding has made 11 field goals, with his longest make of 39 yards against Frostburg State on Oct. 9. He has been nearly perfect on extra-point kicks, going 57-for-58.

The Gahanna, Ohio native now has the Mountain East Conference and NDC record in career field goals made (52), career extra-point kicks (254) and total points scored (410). He is first in NDC history with a field goal percentage of 72.2-percent and an extra point percentage of 93-percent.

Harding is tied for first among active career leaders in NCAA Division II in field goals made. He also ranks seventh among active players with 7.5 points per game.

Notre Dame jumps into postseason play against No. 19 Slippery Rock University, on Nov. 20, in the First Round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Mueller Field.
