SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – Notre Dame College football Head Coach Mickey Mental has filled out his staff, bringing in four new coaches to partner with those who remain on board from 2019.
Serving as the Falcons' Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach is Alan Estep, who will be the. Estep was previously at Marietta College for six years where he was the Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator.
Harlen Jacobs (Co-Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs) and Christian LeMay (Wide Receivers Coach) both remain in their positions at NDC while Adam Schrack was promoted to Special Teams Coordinator after spending the past two seasons as the Running Backs Coach. Schrack will remain at the helm of the running backs' room while adding special teams' duties.
Garrett Mack (Tight Ends/Director of Football Operations) and Jake Chestnut (Recruiting Coordinator/Defensive Line) round out the coaching staff for Notre Dame as two newcomers. Mack was an assistant coach at Oberlin College (2017, 2019) and Baldwin Wallace (2018) previously while Chestnut is very familiar with NDC. Chestnut played with the Falcons from 2013-16 and served as an assistant coach with Notre Dame in 2017; he returns to South Euclid after two seasons as the Defensive Coordinator at Montana State-Northern.
"I am very excited about the coaches that we have hired," Mental said. "They are all great people and do a great job teaching their players on and off the field. We are looking to continue to build the Notre Dame College brand, and these coaches are the perfect people to guide us forward."
Mental was named Head Coach at Notre Dame on December 22, 2019.
