WACO, Texas – The Notre Dame College football team dropped one position in the September 16 AFCA Division II Coaches' Poll. The Falcons are now ranked No. 5 after a 43-24 road victory last week at West Liberty.
 
Notre Dame had been ranked No. 4 in the preseason though last week before being jumped by Tarleton State, ranked No. 5 last week. The Texans have had an impressive first two weeks with a win at FCS school Stephen F. Austin to open the year and a routing of Doane (56-3) last week.
 
The swap of the No. 4 and No. 5 teams was the only change in the top 10. 
 
The Falcons opponent this week, Fairmont State, received one vote in the rankings.
 
Notre Dame will host Fairmont State on Saturday, September 21, at 12 p.m.
