Series History: The Falcons lead the Bobcats 4-0 in a series dating back to 2013. The series has often been high scoring, with an average of 69.25 combined points in the previous four matchups, peaking in 2014 with a 47-44 game. Last season, NDC won 26-21.

Noting the Falcons: Notre Dame won its sixth-straight game last week with a 45-7 victory at Urbana. It was the fourth game in a row that the Falcon defense has held opponents under 20 points. Overall, NDC has allowed fewer than 20 points in five games and fewer than 15 points in four games. The Falcons have also held opponents under their season points average in five of seven games this year: GSC (10, 34.4 avg.), WVSU (35, 38.1 avg.), CU (13, 16.4 avg.), FSU (14, 24.0 avg.) and UU (7, 25.14 avg.).

Noting the Bobcats: West Virginia Wesleyan won its third game of the season during its homecoming game against UVa.-Wise last week. Wesleyan completed 56 percent of its passes, but only threw for 146 yards. This year, the Bobcats are 3-0 when completing at least half of their passes and 0-4 when completing less than half. WVWC has also rushed for over 100 yards in each of its three victories and only done so once in its four losses.

Toss to Ross: Sophomore Marvelle Ross highlighted last week's game with 164 yards and 4 touchdowns. Ross broke the NDC record and tied the MEC record for most receiving touchdowns in a single game. After sitting out the first game of the season, Ross has recorded at least one reception in each game and has recorded at least two in five of his six games played. Overall, he has caught 19 passes for 282 yards and seven touchdowns.
