NDC hosts 2013 Alumni Game

Former Falcons return to NDC

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame College Men's Soccer welcomed back some familiar faces for their annual Alumni game over the weekend.

The game on Friday April 5th saw former Falcons travel from as far afield as Australia and England to reunite to don the blue and white of Notre Dame College once more. The game, which ended in an amicable 3-3 draw, was followed by a trip to see the Columbus Crew take on Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Michael "Mac" McBride was pleased with the turnout. “First off thanks must go to Mario Dimac ('07), Christian Taske ('07) and Robert Ayling ('06) for their help in putting this weekend together," said McBride. "The game itself was an evenly contested affair that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats, and seeing so many of our former players together on the pitch again was entertaining, and at times amusing. As our alumni matures this type of event takes on even more significance. It was great catching up with the lads and it was great to see them to catch up with each other.”
