SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame College men's soccer team has been selected to participate in the NCAA Division II playoffs for the second straight season.

The Falcons, who finished the regular season as Mountain East Conference Champions with a 15-3-0 record secured the No.2 seed in the Atlantic region. The Falcons will host the No.3 seeded Mercyhurst Lakers in the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs on Sunday Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. on Mueller field.

The Falcons are the sole representative from the Mountain East Conference in the playoffs. The other teams joining the Falcons in the Atlantic region are No.1 Slippery Rock and No.4 Millersville, who will play Saturday Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. at Slippery Rock.

This will be the first time in Notre Dame College Athletics history that the school has hosted an NCAA Division II playoff game and it comes in the inaugural year of the Falcons playing on Mueller Field.
