No. 3 Cedarville was blanked by Notre Dame 2-0 and Walsh 3-0 before defeating Urbana 4-1 and Malone 2-1. The Yellow Jackets have not lost since dropping that 3-0 result to Walsh, during this streak Cedarville is 7-0-0 outscoring opponents 21-4.
No. 4 Malone opened their OIC play with a 4-1 loss to Notre Dame and a 2-1 loss to Cedarville. The Pioneers secured the final spot in the four-team OIC field by rallying for a 2-1 overtime win over Walsh and a come from behind 3-2 overtime win at Urbana.

Despite losing four starters from last season's National Runners-up team, the Falcons who have used 17 different starters in 16 matches this fall, remain among the nation's elite teams and are poised for another deep tournament run and remain as the last undefeated team in the nation.
The Falcons have not been shutout since Sept. 12, 2008, are averaging an NCAA-II best 4.12 goals per game. In all, Notre Dame has netter two or more goals 16 times in 16 matches this fall, including a 4-1 rout of Midwest Region No. 4 Northwood (Mich.), on Oct. 30.
The Falcons and Pioneers are meeting for the eighth time, second in 2011. Notre Dame holds a 6-1-0 advantage and has not lost since their inaugural meeting with the Pioneers Sept. 18, 2001, 3-2 OT loss at Malone Field.
Notre Dame has outscored Malone 30-2 in their last four matchups and 40-5 all-time.
Since Chris Carmichael took over the Pioneers program in 2009, his squads have struggled against Notre Dame. The Falcons have outshot MU 91-19 while scoring an average of 7.7 goals per contest against Malone.

Jan Skorupinski and
Alex Klein have combined for eight this season. The German net minders have combined for 51 saves while giving up 0.69 goals per game. Klein tied Chris Logan for the individual career record in shutouts (18) on Oct. 22. The Frankfurt, Germany, native became the first Notre Dame student-athlete to be named ECAC Player of the Week when he was selected as the Men's Soccer Division II Defensive Player of the Week for games played Oct. 23-30.
After losing 11 players from their 2010 National Runners-up squad, the revamped 2011 Falcons' roster features seven starters and 12 newcomers.
Of those newcomers, one is a transfer and 11 are incoming freshmen.
Since 2008, the Falcons are 26-2-1 (.914 percent) at the friendly confines of the Lyndhurst stadium. The Blue & White have not lost a home contest since Oct. 27, 2009. Since that loss NDC is 14-0-0 at Korb Field.
MALONE
With eight players scoring at least two goals, Malone's attack has nearly doubled its output from a year ago. The Pioneers scored just 22 goals in 18 matches in 2010 when the Pioneers finished 6-12-0. This season sophomore midfielder Kelvin Aquino has provided 11 goals and 5 assists to lead Malone to 43 goals through 18 matches.
Junior defender Jake Zimmerly scored on his only shot of the season. The Sterling, Ohio, natives 70-yard free kick bounced over Patrick Coleman in the Pioneers 5-4 overtime win at Bethany (W.Va.), Oct. 6
After giving up over two goals per contest in 2010, sophomore goalkeeper Felipe Monteiro has stopped 81 shots to improve the Pioneers defense to 1.74 goals against per game.
The Pioneers have taken a committed and physical approach to defense. That approach has seen the Pioneers whistled for 189 fouls. Of those infractions the Red, White & Blue have earned 27 cautions and one ejection in 2011.
