ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – Second-ranked and fourth-seeded, Notre Dame faces the hosts, seventh-ranked and ninth-seeded, Mobile-Ala. (17-3-2), in the 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Semifinal. The Blue and White are set to play in their first semifinal match, while the hosts are set to play their seventh with a 3-3-0 record in such matches. The teams will faceoff Friday Dec. 3, at 5 p.m. EST for the right to play in the Championship match Saturday Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. EST. (

The Falcons and third-seed Hastings-Neb. (23-0-0) were the only undefeated teams to survive through to the semifinals.
Notre Dame is playing in their third consecutive and fourth NAIA National Tournament, while the Rams, won the 2002 National Championship match, 2-1 over Park (Mo.) are playing in their seventh straight and 14th all time. Mobile, the only team to win a Final Four match is 3-3-0 in such games. With all four seeds in the single digits, this marks the first time since 2005 that the four semifinalists are seeded from Nos. 1 to 9.
Mobile became the first host team since 2002 to win a match in the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship.
Three of the four teams enter the Semifinals with at least 20 wins, led by 23 from Hastings and followed by Notre Dame (22), and William Jewell (20). Mobile (17) is the only team with fewer than 20 wins.
