SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame Football announced today that Cory DeChiara has signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to continue his football career with the Falcons.
DeChiara comes to College Road from Dover, Ohio, where he was a standout wide receiver and cornerback for Dover High School and Head Coach Daniel Ifft. DeChiara was a one-year letterman for the Tornadoes; he also lettered one year in basketball and three years in track.
“Cory will bring some versatility to our roster,” said Notre Dame Head Coach

DeChiara was named Region 11 First Team Defense, and Eastern Central Ohio League Second Team after accounting for over 1,100 yards during his senior season.
The son of Tom and Michelle Burkhart plans on beginning classes at Notre Dame in the fall and majoring in sports management.
