This Week: The Notre Dame College baseball team heads to Slippery Rock University on Tuesday Apr. 30 at 6 p.m. On Friday May 3, NDC will travel to Salem University for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Notre Dame will wrap up the regular season on Sunday May 5 for another doubleheader against the SU Tigers. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m., with Senior Day taking place prior to game one.
 
Records: NDC enters the week at 10-35 (7-21 MEC). SRU sits at 24-16, while SU is 28-18.

Series History: Notre Dame is 0-2 all-time against Slippery Rock, dating back to their pair of meetings in 2012. The Falcons are 8-2 all-time when facing Salem, dating back to their first meeting in 2005 and including their most recent contest in 2014.
 
Noting the NDC Falcons: Last week, Notre Dame fell to Malone in a non-conference bout 9-8, as Alexander Jones, Jackson Smetak and Devon Morris each picked up three hits on the day. NDC traveled to Frostburg State over the weekend and dropped the four-game set with the Bobcats.
 
A pair of Falcons boast batting averages north of .300 in Jones (.339) and Caden Gomes (.306). Jones (25), alongside Carson Petrecca (32) and Aaron Miranda (17) drive home the runs for NDC, as Petrecca is the team leader in RBI, home runs (4), total bases (56) and walks drawn (26).
 
On the bump, Guy Young and Matthew Brown lead the pitching staff with three wins, while Johnny Anservitz has punched out a team-best 64 batters. Danny Brammer has seen the most action for the Falcons, appearing in 18 contests. Johnathan Cook limits the opposition with a team-best 3.21 ERA over 11 appearances.

Noting the Rock: Last week, Slippery Rock fell on the road to Frostburg State 11-2 on Tuesday. The Rock was then swept beat Seton Hill in four games over the weekend, 6-2, 1-0, 2-1, 8-2.
 
As a team, Slippery Rock slashes .287/.366/.417 to go with, 66 doubles, 13 triples, 20 home runs and 201 runs scored. On the mound, the Rock surrenders a 3.45 ERA, .237 opponent batting average, to go with 289 strikeouts and 120 walks allowed.
 
Noting the Tigers: On Tuesday, Salem hosted Seton Hill, before falling 6-2. The Tigers then split a weekend series at Wheeling, 6-13, 5-3, 2-4, 12-11.
 
As a whole, Salem slashes .311/.424/.466 to go with, 73 doubles, nine triples, 35 home runs and 321 runs scored. On the bump, the Tigers show a 6.22 ERA, .293 opponent batting average to go with 322 strikeouts and 155 walks allowed.
