Series History: The NDC Falcons are 20-16 all-time against the FSU Falcons, dating back to their first meeting in 2014 and including the four-game set played at Mercy Health Stadium last season. Notre Dame took three of four games during that series, 3-2, 2-1 (8 inn.) and 4-3, while Fairmont State stole one game, 11-2.

Danny Brammer tossed 5.2 innings of shutout baseball, as the Falcons defeated the Cardinals 1-0. WU responded in games two and three 8-0 and 4-3, before
Matthew Brown twirled a complete game victory for Notre Dame 2-1.
