Noting the Falcons: Last week the Falcons went 2-5 during seven games played in Florida. On Sunday, NDC began by splitting a series with Ohio Dominican (5-14 and 14-13). On Monday, Notre Dame dropped a pair of games to Thomas More (1-6) and Ashland (9-11). Tuesday and Thursday NDC tallied losses to Winona State (3-28) and Eckerd College (1-15). On Friday, the Falcons closed out their spring break trip with a 7-3 victory over nationally-ranked Grand Valley State.

Guy Young leads the Falcon pitching staff with a 2-0 record, including 20 strikeouts over 13.0 innings pitched. The sophomore flashed a career-high 11 punchouts in the victory over GVSU, aiding NDC to 20 strikeouts as a team, the most in program history.
