This Week: The Notre Dame College baseball team heads to Florida for the Falcons annual spring break trip. During the RussMatt Invitational, NDC will play seven contests, beginning with a doubleheader against Ohio Dominican on Sunday, Mar. 3 with first pitch slated for 10 a.m. Next, Notre Dame is set for a pair of games on Monday, Mar. 4 at 9:45 a.m. against Thomas More, before turning around to duel Ashland at 1:15 p.m. On Tuesday Mar. 5, the Falcons see Winona State at 4:30 p.m. Following an off-day, Notre Dame travels to Eckerd College at 6 p.m. on Thursday Mar. 7. Lastly, NDC and Grand Valley State are set for Friday Mar. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
 
Records: Notre Dame begins the week at 0-4. ODU sits at 4-2, as TMU is 4-3. AU holds a record of 3-0, while WSU is 0-4. EC maintains a 6-6 mark, as GVSU is 4-0.
 
Coaches Corner: Len Barker enters his 13^th season as head coach of Notre Dame College, holding a 238-305-1 career record. Chris Antonides is in his third season with Ohio Dominican, while Jeremy Martin is in his fifth season at Thomas More, amassing a 91-76-1 career mark. John Schaly lead Ashland University in his 27^th season, sitting at 909-488-4 with the Golden Eagles. Seth Wing is in his second season with Winona State, as Josh Beauregard heads Eckerd in his eighth season. Lastly, Jordan Keur begins his first season with Grand Valley State.

Series History: Notre Dame is 0-15 all-time when facing Ohio Dominican, dating back to their first meeting in 2008 and including their most recent outing in 2022. The Falcons are 2-4 all-time against Ashland, dating back to their first meeting in 2005 and including AU's victory last season. NDC is 0-4 all-time when playing Grand Valley State, dating back to their first meeting in 2012 and including their most recent contest in 2017. Lastly, this marks the first ever matchup for NDC against Thomas More, Winona State and Eckerd College.
 
Noting the Falcons: Last weekend, Notre Dame dropped a doubleheader to Lake Erie College, 11-6 and 10-4. However, the Falcons flashed a handful of bright spots, as Cadence Varner and Carson Petrecca launched home runs, while Devon Morris recorded three hits.
 
Caden Gomes paces the Falcons with a team-high four hits and a .333 batting average. Gomes, alongside Morris, Aaron Miranda and Jacob Barker have all recorded doubles on the season.
 
The speedy Petrecca has walked six times and swiped three bags to go with a resounding .533 on-base percentage.
 
Varner (3), Alexander Jones (2) and Tyler Shadle (2) produced the runs for NDC by tallying multiple RBI. In addition, Varner (2) and Petrecca (1) provide the pop for Notre Dame as the only players with home runs. Moreover, Varner owns a 1.429 OPS and a 1.142 slugging percentage, as Morris flashes a 1.514 OPS and an .800 slugging percentage as the top marks on the squad.
 
On the bump, Matthew Brown and Johnny Anservitz boast a team-high five strikeouts apiece, as Anservitz (5.2) and Eric Parriett (5.2) lead the team in innings pitched.
