Coaches Corner: Mike Shiels headlines the Notre Dame women's soccer program for his 21
st season at the helm. Shiels carries a 194-126-36 career record, to go along with three MEC Tournament championships and four MEC Coach of the Year honors. Pete McMenemy is the current graduate assistant coach at West Liberty. Kernell Borneo is in his third season with the Fairmont State women's soccer program.

Series History: Notre Dame maintains an undefeated 13-0-8 all-time record when playing West Liberty, dating back to their first meeting in 2013 and including their pair of matches last season. Last year, NDC and WLU tied 2-2 and West Liberty, before the Falcons won 1-0 on Mueller Field. Notre Dame is 8-6-4 all-time when facing Fairmont State, dating back to their first meeting in 2015 and including a trio of contests last season. NDC claimed the first game 1-0 on the road, before FSU took the match at Mueller Field 1-0. In the rubber match, the FSU Falcons took out the NDC Falcons 1-0 in the MEC Tournament Quarterfinals.

Noting the NDC Falcons: Last week, Notre Dame traveled to No. 21 Frostburg State and despite generating quality opportunities, fell 2-0. The Bobcats outshot the Falcons 18-4, including 7-3 on target.

Jordan Pasalaqua has recorded 14 saves and allowed five goals on 36 shots faced. The Madison, Ohio native holds a .737 save percentage and 1.67 goals against average. The Madison High School product has tallied 5,850 minutes played in her career, the sixth-most in NDC program history, 11 matches from becoming the all-time leader in minutes played.

The Hilltoppers have split time in goal between Libby Finn and Zara Wickert. Finn has started two games, playing in 159 minutes and logging 10 saves on 27 shots faced. Finn has allowed five goals on a .667 save percentage, averaging 2.84 goals against per game. Wickert has tallied one start and 111 minutes between the pipes.
