Notre Dame College junior
Miriam Szijarto has been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) as an All-Region selection. The junior earns Third Team All-Atlantic Region, becoming the first NDC Falcon since 2017 to claim All-Region status by more than one outlet (USC and D2CCA). (

The forward paced Notre Dame College and the Mountain East Conference with 18 goals scored, including six multi-goal performances, totaling 39 points. Upon conclusion of the season, the junior ranked top five in points and top three in goals amongst the NCAA Division II.

In the record books, Szijarto tied the NDC single season goals record, notching the most goals scored by an NDC Falcon since 1996. Moreover, she tied the NDC single season record for game-winning goals with six (most since 2009), and totaled the second-most points in a single season in program history (most since 1996). She is also tied second in goals per game (1.00) and third in points per game (2.17) in NDC single season history. In addition, Szijarto is tied second in goals and fourth in points in MEC single season history.

As a result of the historic season, Szijarto has enjoyed a slew of honors and awards. The Ravenna, Ohio native was tabbed Second Team All-American by the D2CCA, First Team All-Atlantic Region by the D2CCA, First Team All-MEC and a two-time MEC Player of the Week this year.
