MERCEDES, Argentina – Former Notre Dame College men's basketball star and 2019 NCAA Division II Player of the Year Will Vorhees has just finished his fourth season of professional basketball. During the 2022-23 campaign, Vorhees was with Club Comunicaciones, a squad that plays in the top division in Argentina.
Vorhees signed with Comunicaciones last November, where he averaged 14 points per game, on 52-percent shooting, and 5.8 rebounds per contest over 26 games. It was his best season since he put up nearly 13 points and six boards per game for
Eisbären Bremerhaven (Germany) in 2019-20.
The native of Lima, Ohio was drafted by the
Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the G-League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, and played 28 regular season games during the 2021-22 campaign. That season, he posted 13 points and 14 rebounds on Feb. 24, in a game against the Cleveland Charge at the Wolstein Center.
He has also spent time with Rasta Vechta (2020-21), a team in the top league in Germany, and Abejas de León (2021-22), in Mexico.
