SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – On Saturday evening, Notre Dame College took the floor in the Murphy Gymnasium, marking the team's first home meet in program history. No. 12 ranked Frostburg State University was able to get past the Falcons, by a score of 261.585-169.345.

Nikki Pizzi exclaimed. "They improved so much from the first meet and continue to exude confidence on the mat. It was really awesome for the NDC community to get a look into the world of acrobatics & tumbling and to see how bright of a future this team has."
Starting the meet with the Compulsory Event, the Falcons posted an 8.9 out of 10 in the Pyramid Heat. They also had an 8.4 out of 10 in the Toss Heat.
The team had a very solid performance in the Toss Event. With an 8.2 out of 8.8 in the 450 Salto Heat, an 8.15 out of nine in the Synchronized Heat and an 8.05 out of nine in the Open Heat, NDC was just 2.4 points off of its start value.
In the Tumbling Event,
Adrianna Nix scored an 8.05 out of 8.75 in the Aerial Pass,
Delaina Kielley had a 7.975 out of 8.45 in the 6-Element Pass and
Kati Rice landed with a score of 8.9 out of 9.1 in the Open Pass.

Jenna Chrzanowski held down all four of the compulsory rounds, a pyramid round, two toss rounds, a tumbling round and the team event after missing some practice due to an illness last week. She came back and didn't miss a beat.
Kati Rice increased her solo pass to a back layout 540 twist and
Delaina Kielley also added some difficultly to her pass as well by adding a back layout 360 twist," Pizzi said.
The Falcons have a quick turnaround and will travel to Glenville State University, on Feb. 27, for a 7 p.m. start.
