Box Score PHILIPPI, W.Va. – The Notre Dame College women's soccer team (2-3-2, 1-2-2 MEC) rained 27 shots, including 14 on goal against Alderson Broaddus University (0-3-3, 0-3-2 MEC), but the two sides dueled to a scoreless draw on Wednesday evening.
The shots came early and often in the match with AB registering a shot on goal in the second minute, as goalkeeper
Jordan Pasalaqua followed up with a save. NDC then generated a shot on goal by freshman
Maridza Desir, but the Battlers keeper denied the attempt.

Notre Dame College ramped up their attack during the second half by showering 18 shots, including nine on goal against the Battler defense. Despite the valiant offensive effort, the match concluded at a 0-0 draw.
NDC outshot AB 27 to seven while posting 14 shots on goal to the Battlers three. The Falcons also had the edge in corner kicks, four to one.
Freshman
Emma Buda and Szijarto paced the NDC attack with seven shots apiece. Buda led the team with five shots on goal, as Szijarto logged three and Parker posted two.
Pasalaqua generated three saves en route to her third shut out of the season and 20
th of her career. The Madison, Ohio native now holds the third most clean sheets in program history.
The Notre Dame College women's soccer team will be back in action on Sunday Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. when the West Liberty Hilltoppers travel to South Euclid, Ohio. This will be the second meeting between the two teams, with the first match taking place on Sept. 7 in West Liberty. The game ended in a 2-2 draw as the teams have now tied their previous three matches.
