Ross named MEC Player of the Year; Farrell and Mendoza garner All-MEC

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – On Wednesday, the Mountain East Conference announced their 2022 postseason award winners and all-conference teams as voted on by the league's coaches. Redshirt sophomore Ben Ross headlined the awards as the first player in program history to be named MEC Player of the Year. Redshirt senior Nick Farrell joined Ross and garnered First Team All-MEC honors, to mark the first time since 2014 that NDC had multiple players selected to All-MEC First Team. Lastly, redshirt sophomore Alec Mendoza ended his 2022 campaign on a tear to bring home Second Team All-MEC.
