Smith, Pasalaqua, Luckett take home All-MEC honors for women's soccer

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Notre Dame College freshman Hannah Smith and seniors Jordan Pasalaqua and Madison Luckett, have been recognized by the Mountain East Conference as All-MEC performers for their stellar 2022 seasons. Smith garners Second Team All-MEC as well as All-MEC Freshman Team, while Pasalaqua and Luckett claim Honorable Mention All-MEC. The awards are voted on by the league's coaches.
 
The Falcons concluded their 2022 regular season on a three-match unbeaten streak maintaining a 7-7-4 (6-6-4) record, and earning bid into the Mountain East Conference Tournament for the 10th year in a row. The Falcons claimed the No. 3 seed in the North Division for the second consecutive season, as NDC has never failed to qualify for the MEC Tournament.

  • Tallied 1,134 minutes played out of a possible 1,170
  • Member of the defense who produced an MEC-best seven shutouts this season

Jordan Pasalaqua
  • Started and played in 17 games this season
  • Led the MEC with seven shutouts
  • Ranked third in the MEC with an 83.5% save percentage
  • Logged 76 saves and seven wins on the year

  • Started and played in 16 games this season
  • Marked 1,368 minutes played
  • Posted a goal against Tiffin (9/4) and an assist against Wheeling (9/14)
