This Week: This Notre Dame College volleyball team will head to Davis & Elkins College on Tuesday Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. before returning to Murphy Gymnasium to host West Virginia Wesleyan College on Friday Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.

Records: NDC is currently 9-14 and 3-4 inside the Mountain East Conference, placing them in seventh place. D&E sits at 11-8 and 4-3 in the MEC, making them tied for fifth place. WVWC has a record of 5-15 (1-6 MEC), which is 10

Coaches Corner: Riley Coleman and
Kathleen Egan are co-head coaches of the Notre Dame College volleyball program, holding a career record of 4-4. Jordan Willis is in his third season as head coach of Davis & Elkins. Willis maintains a career record of 34-25. Nancy Wheeler is the head coach of West Virginia Wesleyan in her sixth season, with a career record of 39-106.

Series History: NDC is 2-6 all-time when facing D&E dating back to their first meeting in 2012 and including the Senators 3-1 victory last season. The Falcons are 6-3 all-time when playing against the Bobcats of WV Wesleyan, including NDC's 3-2 victory last year.

Kaye Dregalla who flashes 211 kills at 2.64 kills per set. A quartet of Falcons aid Dregalla on offense as Derda (137), junior

Zoeckler has set up the Falcon offense this season with 604 assists and 8.27 assist per set. The Trinity High School product ranks fourth in the MEC in assists per set.

Kiley Kalina continues to anchor the Falcons with 383 digs at 4.56 digs per set. The Smithville High School product sits fourth in the MEC in digs per set and second in total digs. In addition, the Wooster, Ohio native currently has the 16
th most digs in the country.

As a team, Notre Dame College generates 11.3 kills per set on a .167 hit percentage, to go with 10.2 assists per set, 16.5 digs per set, 1.8 blocks per set and 1.5 aces per set. NDC ranks tied for ninth in the nation with 1,404 total digs.

Noting the Senators: Last week, Davis & Elkins went 2-1, beginning with a 3-0 sweep of WV Wesleyan. Macie Magallon led all players with 18 kills in the match. D&E followed up the win on Tuesday with a 3-0 loss on Friday to Fairmont State, as Magallon tallied 14 more kills. Lastly, on Saturday, the Senators defeated Frostburg State 3-1 following Magallon's game-high 22 kills.

As aforementioned Magallon is the clear offensive leader of this Senator squad with 283 kills at 4.10 kills per set. She ranks second in the MEC in kills per set. Magallon is joined by Maria Isabel Butruce Candiota who has logged 195 kills and 3.28 kills per and Reanne DeBose with 176 kills at 3.00 kills per set.

Brilane Manchego sets up the Senator attack with 712 assists at 10.32 assists per set, ranking third in the MEC.

Noting the Bobcats: Last week, West Virginia Wesleyan went 0-3, including losing all three matches by a sweep. Hope Arse-Reed led the team in kills each of the last three games, against WV State, Davis & Elkins and Frostburg State. The Bobcats ride a five-match losing streak into the week.

Arse-Reed (198) and Mya Bajramovic (173) are the one-two combo on offense for WVWC, followed by Joelle Lalla (106) as the only three Bobcats with triple digit kills.

Payton Hefner's team-high 372 assists at 4.96 assists per set lead the team, while Sarah McCall logs 197 assists.

On defense, three Bobcats have triple digit digs, including Alexis Moeschler (203), Autumn Molenhouse (197) and Hefner (150). Moeschler leads the team in total digs as Molenhouse paces the squad with 3.52 digs per set.
