Jayme Zoeckler has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team for the 2023 season. This marks the sixth time in the last seven years that an NDC Falcon has generated the award, as Zoeckler is the sixth different player to earn the honor in program history. (

Zoeckler is a psychology major with a 3.77 GPA. The junior from Northfield, Ohio was named Honorable Mention All-MEC after leading the team with 888 assists, and ranking second in the MEC at 9.55 assists per set. Zoeckler's 2023 campaign was highlighted by a career-high 60 assists on Oct. 3 at Fairmont State, the third-most in program history. Moreover, she flashed 42 assists on Oct. 31 vs. Fairmont State, tying the NDC three-set match record. The Trinity High School product is currently fourth on the NDC career leaderboard with 2,130 assists.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
These players will now be on the ballot for the Academic All-America® honors.
