The Falcons responded with a 753 set that vaulted them back into sixth place, setting up a quarterfinal match against third seed St. Ambrose University.
After dropping the first game of the best-of-three match by the narrowest of margins, 182-181, the Falcons romped through the next two games, winning by scores of 247-154 and 210-181.
