Falcons knocked out of tournament at Concord

Box Score BECKLEY, W.Va. - The Notre Dame College women's soccer team lost 2-0 against Concord in the Mountain East Conference Tournament semifinal game on Friday afternoon. The Falcons held their ground for the majority of the game, but were unable to halt the Mountain Lion attack for the full 90 minutes.

Through the 72 minutes of play, things were knotted up 0-0 with Notre Dame doing everything it could to slow down the 18-1 team. Concord was able to get off 17 shots in that time with freshman goalkeeper Jordan Pasalaqua making eight saves.

In the following 10 minutes, Concord was able to break through twice to win 2-0 and advance to the MEC Championship game.

Both goals, scored by two different players, were assisted by Second Team All-MEC midfielder Michelle Brogden.

Notre Dame finishes the season with a 10-6-4 record.
