AUSTIN, Texas - The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) released its list of Google Cloud Academic All-Americans for volleyball on Wednesday and Notre Dame College libero
Alexandra Kaeberlein was named to the Second Team.
Kaeberlein is the first NDC player to be named Academic All-American after earning Academic All-District this season and last. The native of Massillon, Ohio is majoring in accounting and finance with a 4.0 GPA. She ranked sixth in the nation with 709 digs and 10th in NCAA-II with 6.22 digs-per-set.
CoSIDA's academic honors balance both grade point average and on-court performance, making the award one of the most prestigious in college athletics.
"Ali's accomplishments on the court and in the classroom make her so deserving of this honor," said head coach
Travis Hinkle. "As a captain, she is the prime example of what our team stands for, being successful while playing, but more importantly thriving in the classroom every single day."
