Hank Beasore's sacrifice fly to score
Julio Rosales.
The Falcons took the lead in the top of the sixth inning on

Danny Beaver then belted a RBI double to right, scoring Beasore in the process, and Barker drove in the final run of the inning on a double down the line in left.
The Hilltoppers plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but it was not enough, as the Falcons hung on for the win.
Jake Welch (6-2) scored the victory, giving him a win in his last five appearances. He went the distance, and allowed three runs on four hits and struck out four over seven innings.
The top three batters in the order, Beaver,
Travis Smetana and Barker led the way with two hits each, and Barker knocked in a pair of runs.
Game Two
West Liberty scored a pair of runs in the first inning to take an early lead, before a Grand Slam in the seventh inning put the Falcons in a 6-0 hole.
NDC scored all four of their runs in the eighth inning. Beasore struck again with a RBI double down the line in left to score Lett, and he came home later in the inning on Barnhart's triple down the right field line. Barnhart scored on
Jake Kirsh's RBI groundout and Barker drove in another run on groundout.
Cam Fuller (1-2) pitched well, allowing just three runs on five hits while fanning four over six innings, but took the loss.
Barker knocked in runs in both games, and has now driven in runs in each of his last five games. Beasore drove in three runs during the twin bill, and was the only Falcon to hit safely more than once in game two, going 2-for-4 along the way.
The Falcons will return to action on Tuesday, April 19, when they hit the road for a non-conference tilt against Mercyhurst in Erie, Pa. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
