Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Notre Dame Falcons played their final road game of the 2015 season on Saturday afternoon, and fell in four sets to Shepherd.
The loss for Notre Dame (2-21, 1-11 MEC) was their seventh in a row, while the victory for Shepherd (12-13, 7-5 MEC) was their second in a row and their fourth in six games at home.
Notre Dame fell in the first set, 25-17, before falling in the second set, 25-18. The Falcons were able to keep the match alive with a 25-21 victory in the third set, before the Rams closed out the match with a 25-18 victory in the final set.
Lindsay Shirilla led Notre Dame with 12 kills, while
Kristen Hill added nine kills and 11 digs.
Tawny Flareau led Notre Dame in assists with 22, while
Shelby Regiec added 10.
Tawnia Almaraz was Notre Dame's leader in digs with 16.
The Falcons are in action again on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when they head back home for a Mountain East matchup against West Liberty at Murphy Gymnasium. The contest is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
