Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Notre Dame Falcons lost another close battle at home on Friday evening, as they fell in five sets to Charleston at Murphy Gymnasium. 
For the Falcons (2-17, 1-8 MEC) the loss was their fifth in six games at home, while the victory for the Golden Eagles (12-8, 7-2 MEC) was their third in a row and their sixth away from home. 
Notre Dame began the night with a tightly contested, 25-23 victory in the opening set, before Charleston took the second set, 25-18 to tie it up. Notre Dame won, 25-23 to take the third set, and they began the fourth set with six straight points, before Charleston battled back and won, 25-15. The final set was just as exciting as the previous four, coming right down to the wire with UC winning it, 15-13. 
Three Falcons had double digit kills on the night, and 
Lindsay Shirilla led the way with 15 to go along with three blocks and seven digs. 
Kristen Hill finished the night with 11 kills and a pair of blocks, while 
Angela Bush added 10 kills and added five blocks, including three solos. 
Ashley Ohsiek led Notre Dame with six blocks on the night. 
Tawny Flareau paced the Falcons in both assists with 24, and digs with 20. 
Shelby Regiec had 12 assists and 10 digs, while 
Tawnia Almaraz added 19 digs on the evening. 
Notre Dame is at it again on Saturday morning, Oct. 24, when they play host to Davis and Elkins (WV) in non-conference action. The contest is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.
