The Notre Dame College Falcon volleyball team dropped their opening two Mountain East Conference games on the road in West Virginia.

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Notre Dame Falcons lost a thrilling five set game at Glenville State on Friday evening.

The evenly matched teams battled back and forth with the Pioneers coming out on top in the fifth set.

The Pioneers took the first set 26-28, the Falcons fought back to win the second and third sets 25-16 and 25-21 respectively, before the Pioneers won the final two sets 20-25 and 9-15.

BUCKHANNON, W.Va – Less than fifteen hours after the draining five set match in Glenville the Falcons were back on the court to face West Virginia Wesleyan.

The Falcons fought hard but the quick turnaround was evident during the game. The Falcons dropped the match in three sets, 14-25, 19-25 and 14-25.

The Falcons will look to bounce back at home, during homecoming weekend, when they host the Falcons from Fairmont State on Friday 4th October at 7 p.m. and then the Rams from Shepherd on Saturday 5th October at 7 p.m.
