Storm takes two in chilly Chillicothe

Lake Erie scores 18 runs in Saturday sweep of Falcons

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- Notre Dame's offense was held to three runs over two games in a Lake Erie doubleheader sweep on Saturday.

The Storm (3-8) rode big innings to twin victories in the front half of the two-day, four-game neutral-site series at VA Memorial Stadium. Lake Erie tallied a 10-2 win in the opener and an 8-1 victory in the nightcap. The Falcons (8-14) had just four hits in each game.

Matt Kastelic and Tanner Scott started the two games and were tagged with the two losses. The Storm went 9-for-23 with runners in scoring position, while the Falcons went just 2-of-11. LEC's Zach DeCamp went 3-for-8 with two home runs and six RBIs over the two games.
