Alex Defilippo was able to get beyond the last defender before being clipped from behind.

The Falcons started the second half in a similar manner to the first applying pressure early on and again it was
Megan O'Connor who provided the goal for the Falcons in the 57th minute. O'Connor was able to beat two Blue Knight defenders before calmly passing the ball past the goalkeeper.
Falcons goalkeeper Kristy Kolshetzky had four saves on her way to her seventh shutout of the season. Kolschetzky, the current Mountain East Conference player of the Week, currently ranks fifth in NCAA Division II for save percentage and goals against average.
"It was a different kind of game for us today," said Head Coach
Mike Shiels. "They set up in a formation we weren't used to, but the team adjusted well and were very patient throughout."
The Falcons, who are currently ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), will return home on Saturday, Oct. 5 to play their Homecoming game against the Mountain Lions from Concord, kick off is slated for 10 a.m.
