SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Freshman Megan O'Connor scored a hat trick of headers to lead the undefeated Falcons to a 3-0 victory over the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals.

The Falcons (11-0-0) produced one of their best performances of the season to control the pace of the game throughout.

From the outset NDC applied pressure on the Cardinal defense and were quickly rewarded when Megan O'Connor scored her first goal of the game from a Karla Dijohn corner kick in the 25th minute.

The Falcons doubled their lead shortly after in the 34th minute. Natalie Ockunzzi provided the cross on this occasion with Megan O'Connor again providing the finish with her head.

O'Connor would complete her hat trick in the 66th minute with Karla Dijohn again providing the assist from a corner kick. O'Connor has now scored ten goals in only nine appearances this season.

The Falcons defense and goalkeeper Kristy Kolschetzky again produced a solid performance to record their eleventh victory of the season and their ninth shutout.

NDC have now out scored opponents by 25 goals to 2 this season to lead them to eleven straight wins.

The Falcons, who are currently ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), will look to continue their unbeaten record when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday Oct. 16 to take on West Virginia Wesleyan.
