The Falcons (2-11) have now lost four in a row, and are left searching for their first win in two weeks, while the Senators (1-9) snapped a 12-game slide, which dated back to November of last season.
The two teams played an exciting first set, which went down to the wire. The Senators and Falcons were tied at 17, when D&E scored three straight points to take a lead which they would not surrender. NDC did rally, down 24-19, they scored four consecutive points, but still came up short.

Notre Dame kept the match alive with a 25-16 victory in the third set. While the Senators kept it close for the first half of the set, NDC put it away with an incredible, 11-3 run. The Falcons had a slim, 14-13 advantage, when they turned it on and began the aforementioned run.
The fourth and final set was a back and forth battle at the beginning, with neither side leading by more than two, until D&E took a 16-13 advantage. The Falcons were not able to get much closer than that the rest of the way, and fell, 25-20.
