WOOSTER, Ohio -- Notre Dame improved to 8-7 overall on Saturday when they defeated Case Western Reserve, 3-1 and Westminster (Pa.), 3-0 in Wooster at the Yeo-Scot Invitational.
The Blue & White dropped the first set to the Spartans (5-2) but were able to rally off the final three to secure the match 18-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-18. 
Against Westminster (1-7), the Falcons took the sweep, 25-11, 25-18, 25-20. 
Senior #Jessica Suvak# led the offensive charge finishing the day with 20 kills over the two victories. Setter #Kate Verhoff# dished out 55 assists. 
Junior libero #Mandy Bastian# held up the back court for NDC with 31 digs.
Notre Dame returns to the court on Friday, September 18 when they travel to Cedarville, Ohio to take on Cedarville in an American Mideast Conference (AMC) match-up. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
