The win for Notre Dame (15-14, 5-6 American Mideast) marks their third in a row and it keeps them in the race for one of six AMC postseason tournament berths. All three wins in the Falcons' win streak have come in straight sets; the Blue & White are 9-4 this season in three-set matches.
For Ursuline (8-23, 1-8) the loss marked their sixth in a row. NDC is now 17-4 in 21 all-time meetings with their neighbors to the east.
The Falcons' next match is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 27, when the Falcons host Tiffin in a non-conference tilt. That match will be at home; first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
