Noel Weathers was recognized by the Mountain East Conference as a Second Team All-MEC performer following a spectacular 2023-24 season. (

Weathers powered Notre Dame's strong finish to the season, which saw the Falcons play above .500 (winning percentage) basketball since January. NDC has punched their 11
th consecutive ticket to the postseason, as the Falcons have made the MEC Tournament every year since joining the league in 2013-14.
The forward led Notre Dame College and the Mountain East Conference all season long in rebounds (9.1) and blocks (2.3), including ranking 12
th in the entire country in blocks per game. Furthermore, the Cincinnati, Ohio native fueled the Falcon offense as the leading scorer at 12.8 points per game, seated 15
th in the MEC. The Mt. Healthy High School product also boasts a team-high nine double-doubles (2
nd MEC), including each of her last two games.
Back on Feb. 21, Weathers broke a 27 year-old record with her 58
th block of the season (now at 65), surpassing All-American Joni DePiore from 1995-96. The forward has also corralled 256 rebounds on the year, seventh-most in NDC single season history.
Most recently, the sophomore tallied a career-high 28 points (12-16 FG) and career-best 16 rebounds in the 69-68 win over West Liberty on Feb. 28. In addition, Weather rejected six shots in back-to-back games against Tiffin and at Lake Erie on Dec. 30 and Jan. 6, tied for the second-most in a game in program history.
Next, Weathers and Notre Dame College will look to stay hot in the MEC Tournament, following a pair of wins this past week. In Wheeling, WV at Wesbanco Arena, NDC the No. 10 seed will square up against No. 7 Glenville State in the First Round on Wednesday Mar. 4 at noon.
