Thomson in running for Rudy Scholz Award

Notre Dame College's Rémy Thomson has been nominated for the Rudy Scholz Award, which is given to the top men's collegiate rugby player in the country. Thomson was a major part of the NDC National Championship run a few months ago.

Last fall, NDC had a record of 6-1-1 in the regular season, including a 28-19 win over St. Bonaventure University, just before the playoffs began.

In the Division I Quarterfinals, the Falcons defeated No. 5 ranked Siena College, 50-0. NDC also rolled past No. 4 Indiana University by a score of 26-13, in the Semifinals. And in the National Championship game, Notre Dame took down St. Bonaventure, again, 33-10, to bring home the Falcons' first Fall National Championship since 2016.
