This Week: Notre Dame College will play Minnesota State-Mankato and Winona State, on March 2. The Falcons take on the University of Mary and the California University of Pennsylvania, on March 3. After a day off, they will battle Goldey-Beacom College and Dominican University of New York, on March 5. On March 6, NDC goes up against the  University of Minnesota Duluth and Southwest Minnesota State, on March 6. NDC will meet Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Tiffin University, on March 8, and they will wrap up playing Slippery Rock University and Saint Michael's College.
 
Records: Notre Dame went 4-0 last weekend and now has a record of 4-2 this season. Minnesota State has started the year with a 9-3 record and Winona State is 9-2. Minnesota Duluth is 7-2 and Tiffin is 7-3. UMary holds a 3-6 record, Southwest Minnesota is 2-5, while Goldey-Beacom is 1-7. Cal (Pa.), Dominican, St. Michael's and Edinboro have not played a game yet this year.
 
Coaches Corner: Kelsey Stopp is in her sixth season in the dugout at NDC, leading the Falcons to a record of 96-120. Lori Meyer has been at Minnesota State for 39 years, boasting a record of 1,408-736-3. Greg Jones has been at Winona State for 24 seasons with a record of 938-318-4 and Rick Bertagnolli has been at Cal for 30 seasons, with a record of 922-345. Stacey Rice has led Slippery Rock for 10 seasons now, and has a record of 158-203-1. Bailey Bouman is 95-121 at Southwest Minnesota in her seventh season and Dan Gierlak enters year number 32 at Edinboro. Paige McMenemy is in her third season coaching Tiffin and Juli Greep is in her third season at Goldey-Beacom, Amy Schmeckpeper is at the helm of the UMary program. Samantha McDonald is the interim head coach at Dominican and Lynn Anderson enters her first season at Minnesota Duluth, while Nick Goodreau is in his first season at Saint Michael's.

Noting the Falcons: Last weekend, Notre Dame went to Evansville, Ind. for the Blue Bridge Battle and came home with four wins. The Falcons defeated Kentucky Welseyan (4-1), Ashland University (9-5, in eight innings), Lincoln University (9-3) and Tiffin University (3-0).
 
Leadoff hitter Katelyn DeWeese totaled five hits over the four games. Shortstop Danielle Fick totaled four hits, with a pair of doubles. Third baseman Destany Blake and catcher Lindsay Breuer both added four hits. Breuer also had three RBI,
 
Meadow Odum started in left field in game one on Saturday. She finished that contest with three hits, six RBI, two home runs and 11 total bases. Not only are those all career-highs, but she also tied the program single-game record in home runs and total bases, and is second for most RBI in one game.
 
In the pitcher's circle, Grace Fisher threw two complete games, including a shutout against Tiffin. In the first game of the weekend, against Kentucky Wesleyan, Fisher allowed just one hit and zero runs through six innings. The only run allowed in a 4-1 victory came in the seventh inning, but she limited the damage by striking out a pair of Panthers, which brought her total to eight strikeouts on the day.
