CANTON, Ohio / SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio / FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Notre Dame College closed the regular season strong, as a slew of first place finishes highlighted the Falcons performances against Malone, Hiram, Wooster, Bluffton and Fairmont State.
While at Malone, the Falcons swam against the Pioneers and Hiram College, with NDC jumping off on the right foot. In the 200 medley relays

Jordan Stump,
Courtney Ledbetter and
Abrielle Junge (1:57.80), alongside
Joshua Stokes,
Lucas Vandewinckel,
Luis Aguilar Delgado and Kostadinos, Floros-Angelinas (1:44.63) earned first places for Notre Dame in the first two events.
Junge followed up in the 200 yard freestyle, besting the competition by four seconds at 2:08.17
Next, Floros-Angelinas motored to a 59.52 first place showing in the 100 yard backstroke.
Stump (1:13.05) and Aguilar Delgado (1:01.90) swept the 100 yard breaststroke.
Dawlett (2:37.23) and Vandewinckel (2:16.33) followed suit and swept the 200 yard butterfly.
During sprint freestyle, Ledbetter (25.91) took home first in the 50, as Junge took the crown in the 100 (57.46).
In the men's 200 yard backstroke, Stokes edged out Malone's Luke Kline to grab the win for NDC (2:13.95).
Stump continued to dominate the breaststroke events, this time winning the 200 at a time of 2:39.29. The senior then grabbed first place in the 100 yard butterfly (1:05.49).
In the men's 100 yard butterfly, Aguilar Delgado continued to swim well and picked up first place by over five seconds (55.09).
The quartet of Ledbetter, Junge,
Riley Monahan and Dawlett closed out the meet with a first place in the 400 free relay (4:04.16).
On Friday, the Falcons hosted Wooster and Bluffton for senior day inside Mellen Pool. NDC defeated Bluffton on both sides 94-11 for the men and 111-32 for the women, while falling to Wooster, 163.5-27.5 on the men's side and 166-33 on the women's side.
Notre Dame saw Aguilar Delgado and Wooster's Josh Pearson tie for first place in the 100 yard free style at a time of 49.65.
On Saturday, the Falcons hit the road to close out the regular season at Fairmont State for a dual meet. Notre Dame fell to FSU 172-60 on the men's side and 160-74 on the women's side.
Stump earned first place in the women's 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.54.
Aguilar Delgado picked up first place in the men's 100 yard freestyle by swimming a 49.71.
Once again, Stump swept the breaststroke events, this time a first place in the 200 at a time of 2:40.88.
The Notre Dame College swimming and diving team will gear up for the Mountain East Conference Championships, set for Feb. 14-17 at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio.
