BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – For the second season in a row, Notre Dame College has three student-athletes named to the All-Mountain East Conference teams.
Emma Gumont has taken a spot on the First Team, while
Alexi Maciejowski and
Grace Fisher have earned Second Team honors. (

The Falcons have put together a historic season, winning over 25 games for the first time since 2015 and they are one win away from reaching 30 victories for the first time since 2009. Notre Dame finished with 18 conference wins, the most in the program's NCAA Division II era, along with 12 wins at home, the most since 2017. After bringing in four all-conference awards from 2014-21, NDC has now totaled six in the last two seasons.
First Team
Emma Gumont
-Leads the team in batting average (.339), hits (59), RBI (48), total bases (91), slugging percentage (.523) and tied for the lead in home runs (six)
-Ranks fifth in NDC single-season history in RBI
-Totaled 22 multi-hit games
-Between March 21 and March 25, she had a six-game hit streak that included 12 hits and 14 RBI
Second Team
Alexi Maciejowski
-Leads the team in on-base percentage (.380), tied for the team lead in home runs (6), second in RBI (27), third in average (.304), hits (45), doubles (8) and total bases (73)
-Tied the program record with four hits in a game against Wheeling, on April 27
-Becomes the first Falcon since Kelsey (Coleman) Stopp (2014, 2015) to be named to multiple All-MEC Teams in a career
Grace Fisher
-Ranks third in Notre Dame single-season history with 134 strikeouts
-Tied the program record with 13 strikeouts against Frostburg State, on March 25
-First NDC freshman to earn an all-conference honor since 2012
NDC is set to battle Davis & Elkins in the first round of the MEC Tournament, on May 5. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. at the Botetourt Sports Complex in Troutville, Va.
